Sydnopharm is preparation of synthetic origin, available as tablets to 0, 002 grams in a package of 30 pieces.

  Sydnopharm absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Eliminates or prevents oxygen starvation of the heart muscle, reducing the workload on the heart by increasing venous and increase elasticity of large arteries. On vascular tone heart sydnopharm is not affected. It improves peripheral blood flow and reduces aggregation (adhesion) of platelets.

The drug is prescribed to prevent strokes (intake) and ending strokes (admission under the tongue), rarely – in hypertension.

 Inside sydnopharm prescribed regularly for ½ – 1 tablet after meals 2 – 3 times a day. Sometimes the doctor prescribes medication to 6 times a day. The effect occurs in 20 – 60 minutes and lasts for 6 – 8 hours. Under the tongue drug taking on ¼ – 1 tablet during an attack of angina, usually with poor tolerance to nitroglycerin. At the same time improving the well-being observed after 5 – 10 minutes.                                                                                                        Sydnopharm tolerated more easily than sustak, nitromak, nitrong and other long-acting nitrates. Combine them Sydnopharm should not be. Early treatment may be headaches and low blood pressure, passing at lower doses sydnopharm.

Side effects: the cardiovascular system: often – lowering blood pressure, collapse, red skin, and tachycardia. CNS: headache (usually minor, disappear in the course of further treatment), slowing of psychomotor reactions (mostly at the beginning of treatment), and dizziness. Part of the digestive system: nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea. Allergic reactions: skin rash, bronchospasm, rarely – anaphylactic shock.

The drug is contraindicated in cardiogenic shock and low blood pressure. In acute myocardial infarction assignment is possible only under medical supervision. Not recommended for use sydnopharm the first 3 months of pregnancy.
